One Month to Go
Actually, it is less than one month until the FIS Freestyle Ski Cross World Cup Kicks off in Val Thorens, France.
Since returning to Australia from Saas Fee, Switzerland, I have been in the gym... a lot. Two to three times per day. I returned home and had strength and fitness testing in Melbourne (that went quite well) and then was straight back to Sydney to continue the gym work until today... When I fly back to Europe and head to Austria to get on snow before the first World Cup.
The three weeks that I have been home have quite literally flown by. I flew to Melbourne, to Adelaide and moved house between training sessions. They say that the busiest people get the most done... And I literally have squeezed everything in this trip!
Now that I have moved house, seems like the perfect time to re-pack my suitcase and hit the road! I fly to Munich and then drive to Pitztal, Austria for a few weeks of Ski Cross training. I will be training alongside most WC teams, as the snow situation in Europe is quite poor, almost everyone is training in the same place.
So whilst I am busy preparing over the next weeks, I as that you please pray to the snow gods to send some snow to Europe so our WC tour can begin!
