Saas Fee, Switzerland
I am having an amazing training camp in Switzerland. My Olympic Winter Institute of Australia coach Shawn and I were reunited with my beloved ski technician Martin fo a 2.5 week training camp in Saas Fee, Switzerland. I have focused on my skiing volume, both freeskiing (working on specific technical elements of my skiing) and in a full length skicross track (taking technical work into the track, working on tactics whilst racing other people and getting comfortable in all elements- rollers, jumps, turns and various weather conditions).
I have been training closely with the Swiss team (this is their home base) as well as French, Swedish and other nations too. The conditions have been fantastic, we have had mostly sunny days with fast snow, and a track with almost every element I would see at a FIS Freestyle World Cup Ski Cross.
