Stride4Stroke
Last week, I was given the opportunity to climb the Sydney Harbour Bridge with the Stroke Foundation and Bridge Climb Sydney.
Those who know me well, will recall that I am not great with heights... So this climb was not something I ever thought I would be doing. But when I was asked to join two other Stroke Survivors and climb the Bridge together- How could I say no!
I joined Paul and Sophie as well as Stroke Foundation CEO and other Stroke Supporters on a very wet Sydney morning to begin our journey. We all banded together and conquered the Sydney Harbour Bridge as a team. I am so proud that I was able to be part of such an inspirational morning. (Additional kudos to Mother Nature, for stopping the rain as soon as our climb begun and warming us with the suns rays!)
Thank you for allowing me to share my stroke story and to launch Stride For Stroke 2017
This November the Stroke Foundation is calling on all Australians to get moving and Stride4stroke.
What is Stride4stroke?
