October has drawn to a close and my month long 'summer' camp has too.
I have been based at home on Sydney's Northern Beaches, training at the Sydney Academy of Sport in Narrabeen and the NSW Institute of Sport in Homebush. It has been a productive block and I have enjoyed training with the Snowboard Cross, Half Pipe and Slopestyle athletes under John's watchful eye. I have jumped straight back into 'Manly' life, with yoga sessions at Qi Yoga and Pilates sessions at Dynamic Pilates Australia.
It hasn't all been sweat and hard work since I got home from Europe, I have enjoyed spending time with my husband, friends and family- and spending as much time outdoors as possible!
I head back to Austria on the weekend for some final race training before our World Cup tour kicks off in December. Here is a preview of what December holds for me:
8-10 December- 2x WC Val Thorens, France
12-13 December- 1x WC Arosa, Switzerland
16-17 December- 1x WC Montafon, Austria
20-22 December- 2x WC Innichen, Italy
(these are competition dates only- training days are squeezed in too!)
I cant wait for it all to kick off and to have my best year yet!
